Goodbye Longcombe and IML, Hello DURA-ID More Info

When Sue Cummine, Waste Management Officer at Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council was looking at ways to communicate effectively with households regarding disruptions to normal bin collection services over the Christmas period she contacted IML.

Following consultation on factors such as label longevity, artwork, attachment and budget IML recommended Polyplas bin tags.

Sue commented:

As a local authority we are keen to justify spending with a well-planned, good quality campaign delivered on time and in budget. We opted for a bin tag, rather than a notification letter, to ensure our clients connected well with the information provided regarding changes to normal service We wanted an economical, environmentally friendly, weather-proof tag, printed to a high standard utilising both sides and which could be easily attached and then removed without leaving any unsightly residue on bins after the Christmas period. IML’s Polyplas bin tags represented good value for money; we have since worked with IML on additional tags to help deter mixing recycled waste. Based on my experiences I have found their staff are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable

We were printing full colour product labels and our spend on consumables was escalating. Dura-ID suggested an OKI Smart Managed Print Contract to fix the cost. As a result we are making significant cost savings. I was so pleased with Dura’s advice, support and service I now order all my blank label media from them too.
